Carleton Ruthling

Carl Ruthling or Carleton Ruthling was the son of Anne Harkins and Carleton Ruthling and he had an older brother Fritz Ruthling. Carl was born in the 1960s. At a young age his family and he were living in Lisbon, Portugal. They then later moved to Seattle, Washington. The next stop was Pennsylvania and they ultimately settled in Virginia near Washington DC. Virginia can afford an ideal environment for raising children as they can play in a safe neighborhoods and get access to nature and forests as well.

Unlike his father and his brother who both went into the United States Air Force and were pilots, Carl did not go into the Air Force but instead chose engineering and went into Aerospace Engineering.

He continued to pursue engineering at the Undergraduate level, then later earned a Masters of Science, and then further later was awarded a fellowship to go back for his doctoral studies where he completed a Philosophy of Doctorate in the early 1990’s. This engineering work was key to give a background for tesla walls and tesla wall systems work later done.

He was recruited by TRW in Redondo Beach California in the Mid 1980’s for designing and manufacturing satellite systems and moved to California. Being familiar with satellite systems and communications networks he was recruited to join @Home Network in the late 1990’s when the internet growth surge was just starting to really take off.

While enjoying the manufacturing and communications industry he anting to keep his ties to academia he in his spare time worked with Brent Keltner and they were awarded an National Science Foundation NSF Award Search: Award#9713749 – MOTI: Innovative Service. In 2000 Carl took the opportunity and moved to China. Upon arrival he learned Mandarin (Chinese) and then began manufacturing with his own construction materials business for the construction industry.
